Decommissioning Diamond Wire

Decommissioning diamond wire is use in wire saws for dismantling and removal of structures e.g. pipes, beams and walls and large sections of infrastructure. Diamond wire comes in various types and sizes and these are all manufactured to order specific to the clients requirements. For example, diamond wire can come in different types, rubber coated diamond wire, plastic coated diamond wire, vacuum brazed diamond wire (more suited to metal cutting applications) Softer and harder bond types of wire may be required depending on the application as some diamond wire is suited to concrete structures with reinforcing whilst other types of diamond wire are suited to cutting of steel beams, decommissioned oil pipes, decommissioned nuclear plants reactor vessels, cooling towers and other areas that require precision cutting in the nuclear and oil & gas industries.
